Our Church

Fundamental Beliefs of the Church

  • The Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God.
  • There is one God, eternally living in three persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the virgin birth, Jesus' sinless life, His miracles and His death, burial and miraculous resurrection.
  • Eternal salvation is available only through God's grace and our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • The spiritual unity of all believers as the Body of Christ, which is Jesus' Church on this earth.
  • We believe that all Christians are commissioned to share the joy and Good News of salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ, to a hurting and broken world.

Strong Traditions of Our Church

Baptism is an act by which a believer shows obedience and commitment to the Lord. Baptism is for individuals who are old enough to make their own decisions. It is symbolic of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Communion is the highlight of our Worship Service each Sunday. When we eat a small piece of bread and drink a little cup of grape juice, we are re-enacting Jesus' last supper with His disciples. We are also remembering His death, burial and resurrection. When we share communion, we are identifying ourselves as being in a forgiven, loving relationship with our Savior.
